SSA Performance Horses is all about fun! And we excel at having just the right amount of fun, while still being serious about our goals.

SSA Performance Horses is proud to announce the following rider/handler combinations this show season:

Megan Blyzka ~and~ Zippin' Good Scotch

Megan has been riding with SSA Performance Horses since 2000. Megan has learned to grow and become a more focused and responsible person in her day-to-day life and horse life since starting to take lessons with Sarah. Megan enjoys riding both english and western and also excels in the trail and showmanship classes!

Megan has been showing P.J since 2006 and became the proud owner of him in the Spring of 2007!

Christina ~and~ Maximum Stride

Christina and Max have been riding with SSA Performance Horses since fall 2007. Before coming to SSA, Christina did most of the training of Max herself. We are very proud of all her hard work, and we look forward to seeing this pair grow throughout this season!

Isabelle Lingle ~and~ Dot Less Arnie

Isabelle is our youngest handler, and has been taking lessons with SSA Performance Horses since Summer 2007.

Isabelle is a very knowledgeable young rider and is excited to be showing with the best! She is debuting in walk-trot events this year.

Fallon Brewer ~and~ Invest In Her Zip

Fallon has been riding with SSA Performance Horses since the fall of 2007, together Fallon and Hannah excel in the english discipline! Fallon enjoys spending time in the barn with the horses, besides horses Fallon is active with a competitive dance team!

Bailey Dotson ~and~ Rowdy Doc

Bailey has been with SSA Performance Horses since July 2007 and is looking forward o her very first show season! With limited showing Bailey has already placed numerous top fives! Bailey is riding western this season and hopes to add english to her expertise. Bailey has already learned what it is to be a "team player" and how to have show ring presence!

Bailey and Rowdy are a brand new team, they will be showing together this year in Novice Events.

Leanna Goettel ~and~ Chex Out This Jewel

Leanna and Jewells are focusing on progress this year. Leanna hopes to finish training Jewells and show in 4H and local open shows. Besides riding horses, Leanna works for a local tackstore and also plays basketball.

Shelby Huston ~and~ Wrangler Mercedes

Shelby and Mercedes just started training with SSA. We are very happy to have them with us and to watch this young pair grow & expand their knowledge. Shelby's favorite class is showmanship, her and Mercedes have won LOTS of ribbons! This year, Shelby hopes to spread her expertise to B System Shows, with A system breed shows as her highest goal!
